Make sure you enjoy the journey on your way to Tofino as there are some beautiful stops along the way to the end of the road.

Tofino is the only place on the west coast of British Columbia that has something for everyone. Whether you like to surf (or even just try it out), walk the beaches, hike the rainforest, catch fish, eat world class food, visit the local wildlife, or shop local artisans and galleries, there is something here for you!

BY CAR

From Vancouver BC (BC Ferries) - Tsawassen or Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo BC. Drive North towards Comox on Hwy 1. When passing Qualicum Beach take the Hwy 4 exit to Port Alberni and Tofino. Trip time approx. 3 hours from Nanaimo.

By BUS

Tofino Bus – from Victoria, through Nanaimo (BC Ferries) to Tofino and return.

Where to Stay in Tofino:

Currently we do not offer fish and stay accommodation packages. However, as we depart from Tofino Resort + Marina, we do highly recommend them first and foremost both for their convenience of being a full service marina, restaurant, pub, accommodation all in one place, but that it is also walking distance from downtown Tofino. We will happily look into vacancies for you, but here are some other suggestions if you want to go at it on your own.

Often Tourism Tofino or the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce has information for last minute vacancies as well.
